The server was founded by 2 friends - Vincent and Silas - back in 2015 as PhantasieCraft and has had 3 different maps, 2 of which were opened to public. It is still being developed till this day with only one owner, Silas, remaining. The server got renamed to FantasieCraft at the end of 2016 and to FantasieCraft Resort in 2018. As themepark servers were relatively new at the time, both owners wanted to build a private server together as well so the posibilities weren't limited by the restrictions of other creative servers. Vincent mainly focussed on the server-side of things, while Silas looked over the projects happening in the server.

 

Vincent left FantasieCraft in 2018 and the project has been fully owned by Silas ever since.

In the beginning of 2023 the server started a collaboration with ParadiseRP, a roleplay server that was looking for a themepark to expand their content. The idea behind this collaboration was to merge the FantasieCraft Resort server with the ParadiseRP server in 2 stages; firstly with a seperate map and eventually with the themepark in the same world as their City RP. Unfortunatelly this collaboration didn't last long, as the owners of ParadiseRP pulled the plug without notice at the end of the summer of the same year.

 

FantasieCraft Resort continued individually with the progress that was made on ParadiseRP. The owner of FantasieCraft was always against collaborations and has confirmed to not do any more full collaborations after this exception.

FantasieCraft Resort participated in the 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 edition of CoasterCon. The server has won various awards during both events in both the general category as in the booth category. It is planned to participate in every following edition of the event.
